Privacy Policy

1. Scope and contact point

This Policy explains how information is handled when you visit or use less.pictures (the "Service"), operated under the Less Pictures name. It covers the website, accounts, AI photo cleanup, purchases, support, and related analytics. For privacy questions or requests, email support@less.pictures.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: email address, name, profile image, authentication identifiers, account settings, and account status. If you use Google or Apple sign-in, that provider supplies the profile details you authorize. Apple may provide a private relay email address if you choose to hide your email.
• Photo-cleanup content: the working copy of the photo, brush mask, processing instructions, and generated result needed to perform the requested cleanup.
• Usage and history: job status, timestamps, selected product page, provider, free-use or credit source, credits used, errors, and other records needed to operate and audit the service.
• Purchase information: product or plan, order and subscription identifiers, amount, currency, payment status, and credit grants. Waffo Pancake and its payment partners process complete payment-card details; we do not receive your complete card number.
• Technical and analytics data: IP address, browser and device details, referring page, pages viewed, interactions, approximate location, performance, and error information.
• Communications: messages, attachments, and contact details you send when requesting support or making a privacy or refund request.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and maintain sessions;
• process photo-cleanup requests and return generated results;
• apply free-use entitlements, deduct or restore credits, process purchases, and maintain transaction records;
• provide support, investigate errors, prevent abuse and fraud, and enforce our Terms;
• understand reliability and product usage and improve the Service; and
• comply with legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests.

Where a law requires a legal basis, processing may be necessary to perform our contract with you, comply with law, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, or rely on your consent. You may withdraw consent where consent is the applicable basis, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. AI photo processing

When you confirm a cleanup, the Service prepares a working image and brush mask and sends them from our server to fal.ai for processing by the ByteDance Seedream 5.0 Pro image-editing model. Those providers process the material to generate the result. The provider output safety checker is enabled; a flagged result is rejected instead of being delivered as a successful cleanup. Do not upload confidential or highly sensitive images unless you are comfortable with this processing and have authority to do so.

Our cleanup history stores operational metadata such as job status, credits, timestamps, usage source, and provider. The application does not intentionally place the original working image or brush mask in that cleanup-history record. Processing providers may handle and retain request data under their own terms, security measures, and retention practices.

5. When information is shared

We disclose information only as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including to:

• fal.ai and its model infrastructure for AI image processing;
• hosting, database, storage, content-delivery, and security providers;
• Waffo Pancake and payment partners for checkout, tax, fraud prevention, subscriptions, and refunds;
• Google or Apple, when you choose that authentication provider;
• email and support providers for service communications;
• Vercel Analytics and, when configured, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for product analytics; and
• authorities, advisers, or transaction parties when required by law, needed to protect rights and safety, or involved in a legitimate business transfer.

We do not charge third parties for personal information and do not currently operate an advertising or remarketing program. Analytics and other providers may process data under their own terms when their services are enabled.

6. Retention

We retain account, credit, transaction, support, security, and generation metadata for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, keep an auditable balance and payment record, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type and provider. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, unless law requires or permits longer retention.

You may request account or personal-data deletion by emailing us. We may keep limited records where required for payment reconciliation, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, or another lawful purpose.

7. Security

We use measures appropriate to the Service, including HTTPS/TLS for data in transit, account authentication, server-side provider credentials, access restrictions, request validation, and abuse controls. No internet service or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep access to your account and connected email secure.

8. International processing

The Service and its providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different privacy laws. Where required, we use an appropriate legal mechanism or other safeguards for such transfers.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know about, access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision. You may also be entitled to complain to a privacy regulator. We will not discriminate against you for making a valid privacy request.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 18. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy as the Service or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice for material changes where required. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to support@less.pictures.
